morning

Mondays can seem like a drag as we are all coming down off of the high of a relaxing weekend. I wanted to center this post around bringing JOY back to your Monday and all about finding the pleasure in the every day! 

When I wake up in the AM, before even stepping foot out of bed, I think about my intentions for the day. I aim for 3 things to focus on each day that are going to bring peace and happiness not only to me, but the people around me. These intentions help me to focus on what is important and help bring clarity to my daily life. They are always short term goals and goals that I truly believe in.

* Make someone smile or, better yet laugh

* Being happy in the moment and taking a mental note of the joyful things each day (bear hugs from kids, sounds of husbands voice on the phone, wonderful smell of my morning tea)

* To love unconditionally

I thank my lucky stars for every day on this beautiful Earth and try to go about my daily life with this in mind. What do you do for motivation in the morning? Do you have any morning rituals? We would love to hear them!
