There are not many things more enjoyable than coming home to a loving pet. Besides the fact that a pet reduces anxiety/stress, reduces allergies, encourages exercise, gets you outdoors, make new friends and so much more. We recently fell in love with the little lady above and as I started looking at food, toys, leashes, and more, I wanted to make purchases that are healthy for my dog. There are many ideas that I found on the web for keeping my puppy happy, but also preserving the environment.

“The world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love unconditionally as a dog.”

Per Pinterest, we made a pet gate for our wide hallway out of cloth and bathtub rods. You can get the DIY project here.  In doing so, it cost less money and is more environmentally friendly since we used materials that we already had on hand. Since we are all about sustainability and the best natural ingredients for our families, this also includes our dogs. I have compiled some eco friendly products and a few blog posts that are great for any dog owner.

Eco Friendly Products:

Eco Mutt 100% Natural Dog Soap

Olive Comfy Pet Blanket

Orbee Tuff Artichoke

Eco Padded Dog Leash
